Learning in Pre-K Means Getting Our Whole Bodies Moving
A rainy Houston day didn’t slow down our Pre-K students! ☔️
When the weather kept us indoors, our students got their whole bodies moving while building important gross motor skills through fun movement activities.
They worked on balance, coordination, body awareness, motor planning, and crossing the midline—all skills that help build the foundation for everything from writing and reading to sports and everyday movement.
The best part? They had no idea how hard they were working because they were having so much fun! 💙❤️
At The Woods, learning doesn’t always happen sitting at a desk. Sometimes, it happens on our feet!
