PreK Gingerbread Day

Join us for a delightful Gingerbread Day celebration on Thursday, December 5th! Our PreK students will immerse themselves in the wonderful world of gingerbread through stories, creative activities, and hands-on fun. The day will include reading classic gingerbread tales, decorating their very own gingerbread cookies with colorful icing and candy toppings, and participating in playful gingerbread-themed games and crafts. Students are encouraged to wear brown, red, and white colors to match our festive gingerbread theme!

This special day supports multiple areas of early childhood development while filling our classroom with holiday cheer. Through cookie decorating, students will strengthen their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination while exploring creative expression and color recognition. The gingerbread stories and activities promote literacy development, sequencing skills, and the ability to follow multi-step directions. Social-emotional growth flourishes as children work together, share materials, and celebrate their unique creations. This engaging, sensory-rich experience creates lasting memories while building essential foundational skills in a joyful, festive learning environment.
