First Grade Christmas Programs

Our First Grade students will shine brightly during their Christmas Program on Monday, December 16th! This delightful performance will showcase the wonderful holiday songs, coordinated movements, and festive presentations our first graders have been working hard to perfect. Families will enjoy watching their children perform seasonal favorites, demonstrate their stage skills, and share the warmth and joy of the Christmas season. This special celebration highlights the growth and talents of our first graders while creating beautiful holiday memories that families will treasure for years to come.

Participating in a Christmas program offers valuable developmental and academic benefits for first grade students. This performance experience builds public speaking confidence, stage presence, and the ability to perform under gentle pressure, all while reinforcing crucial social skills like collaboration, listening to peers, and supporting classmates. Learning songs and choreography enhances memory skills, reading fluency through lyric recognition, and physical coordination through synchronized movements. The program also strengthens sequencing abilities, following multi-step directions, and understanding the connection between practice and successful outcomes. Additionally, this experience fosters self-discipline, focus, and a sense of community as students work together toward a shared goal. Most importantly, this joyful celebration allows first graders to demonstrate their growth and capabilities, boosting self-esteem and creating a positive association with effort and achievement while strengthening the partnership between home and school.
