Elementary Field Trip – K-5th

Our Elementary students in Kindergarten through 5th grade will embark on an exciting field trip on Tuesday, December 10th! This special adventure promises to be filled with wonder, discovery, and seasonal celebration as students explore, learn, and create lasting memories with their classmates and teachers. Students should wear comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for a day of exploration and fun. More specific details about departure times, what to bring, and other important information will be shared with families closer to the date. We can’t wait to see the excitement and joy this experience brings to our students!
Field trips provide invaluable learning opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom walls. This excursion will strengthen observation skills, critical thinking, and the ability to make real-world connections to classroom learning across multiple subject areas. Students will practice important social skills such as following directions in new environments, staying with groups, and demonstrating respectful behavior in public settings. The experience also builds independence, responsibility, and confidence as children navigate new spaces and situations. Multi-age field trips like this one foster a strong sense of school community, allowing younger students to learn from older peers while older students develop leadership and mentorship skills. These shared experiences create bonds and memories that enrich our school culture throughout the year.
