5th Grade Egg Drop

Get ready for an egg-citing challenge at The Woods Private School with our Fifth Grade Egg Drop on April 17th! Our 5th graders will put their creativity and engineering skills to the test as they design and build contraptions to protect their eggs from a thrilling drop—will they crack under pressure or land safely? This hands-on STEM event, happening the same day as our elementary Easter Egg Hunt, promises a fun twist on the spring festivities. Students will compete to see whose invention can best cushion their egg, with bonus points for style and ingenuity. It’s a perfect capstone to a season packed with field trips, Field Day, and more, giving our 5th graders a chance to shine before Easter weekend arrives!
