4th Grade field trip to the Taste of Texas.

Saddle up for a Lone Star adventure with The Woods Private School’s 4th Grade Field Trip to The Taste of Texas on April 8th! Our 4th graders will step into a world of Texas history and hospitality at this iconic Houston restaurant, famous for its mouthwatering steaks and a world-class collection of Texana artifacts. The day kicks off with a tour of the bustling kitchen, followed by an interactive Texas history lesson led by owner Nina Hendee, bringing the stories of the state’s past to life. To top it off, everyone—students, teachers, and chaperones—will enjoy a delicious lunch of chicken fingers, fries, and a Sprite, all on the house. It’s a perfect blend of education and fun, giving our young Texans a taste of their heritage they won’t soon forget!
