Chess Wizards

The team at Chess Wizards believes that education should be fun and exciting. Since their first classes in 2002, their Chess Wizards have inspired children across the US and Canada to think logically, solve problems, win graciously, and learn from defeat. Chess classes and lessons are based around their original, fun, and high-energy Chess Wizards curriculum. Regardless of a child’s ability Chess Wizards makes chess fun for all! Their instructors are an eclectic group from many different professions and backgrounds who all combine four important qualities: a love and skill for the game, a great ability to communicate, a passion for teaching, and the ability to use these qualities to create a fun and challenging learning environment. Chess Wizards has been featured in the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times, Chicago Reader, Pioneer Press, North Shore Magazine, and WGN.

Soccer SuperStars

Soccer Superstars is a professionally designed soccer program using a variety of fun games and activities introducing children from ages 3 and up to the wonderful game of soccer. Their specially designed program promotes health, fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and most importantly FUN! To ensure this, each of the sessions are held with a low child to coach ratio making sure each child receives proper attention allowing them to better develop at their own rate. Each session is age specific and runs weekly lasting between 30 to 40 minutes. For our younger Superstars, Soccer Superstars uses creative games to teach basic soccer and motor skills as well as incorporating letters, numbers, and colors into every session, encouraging the use of imagination, teamwork, and sportsmanship. With our older Superstars, the focus is on soccer techniques and tactics such as passing/trapping, moving on and off the ball, attacking/defending, and shooting. Soccer Superstars’ goal is to provide a positive environment while learning new skills and having endless fun!
